Day-Tran Ethiopia is actively engaged in the following activities:
I. CLEARING, FORWARDING and TRANSPORT
Rendering on behalf of customers clearing, forwarding and transit services of incoming or outgoing cargo to and from Ethiopia and delivering the goods in time and in proper condition to the clients.
Import and Export Freight
Arranging freight transport service by air, rail or sea as well as transporting goods by road with our own vehicles. We are the leading tansporters of cargo, rendering door-to-door service, from Djibouti to any point in Ethiopia and from Ethiopia to Djibouti Port.
Import Freight
  • Verification of documentation;
  • Carrying out Port and Customs formalities, clearing goods, and rendering packing and warehouse services;
  • Following Insurance matters.
Export Freight
  • Notification of arrival of goods;
  • Carrying out port and customs formalities;
  • Arranging Air, Sea, Rail and Road transport with our own vehicles;
  • Provide warehouse if necessary;
  • Follow-up of inspection & insurance matters and delivering goods to the importer in good condition.
II. IMPORT / EXPORT
Importation of agricultural machinery, construction materials, industrial products as well as rice and salt.

Export of agricultural products such as grains, serials, pulses, spices and oil-seeds.

 

III. AGENCY REPRESENTATION & TENDER PARTICIPATION
Represent the interests of Foreign manufacturers, promote their products and participate in large tenders on their behalf. Ethiopia is a recipiant of development funds from the World Bank, IMF, The African Development Bank, the European Union as well as bilateral sources and for such major projects it offers large tenders that manufacturers should take advantage of.

To accomplish the above tasks, Day-Tran Ethiopia with the support of up-to-date equipment and experienced staff is in a position to render fast and efficient service.
